Naserian Axis Launches Global Digital Presence to Bridge the Integration Gap in Development Advisory
Naserian Axis Consulting LLC officially launched its digital operations, marking a significant milestone in its mission to redefine international development advisory through an African women-led lens.
On May 1, 2026, Naserian Axis Consulting LLC officially launched its digital operations, marking a significant milestone in its mission to redefine international development advisory through an African women-led lens. The launch introduced the firm’s comprehensive suite of seven service areas to a global audience, signaling a new era of evidence-driven and contextually grounded support for organizations driving social change.
Headquartered in Minnesota with deep roots across the African continent, Naserian Axis occupies a unique position at the intersection of gender equality, governance, monitoring, evaluation and learning (MEL), organizational development, and ethical AI. The firm is led by its founding principals: Jamila Lugembe, who oversees technical and program leadership with a focus on governance and feminist practice; and Iman R. Hatibu, who spearheads business development and operations, specializing in systems-strengthening and innovative evidence frameworks.
The firm’s entry into the public discourse addresses a persistent “integration gap” within the development sector. Traditionally, expertise in gender, governance, and MEL has been procured in silos, forcing international NGOs, UN agencies, and bilateral donors to absorb the heavy coordination costs of fragmented programming. Naserian Axis offers an integrated model that eliminates these frictions, providing a coherent advisory experience that ensures technical rigor is matched by operational efficiency.
From its registration in the United States to its extensive network across Africa, the firm is built to serve a diverse client base including foundations, private sector ESG leads, and women-led businesses. Whether supporting a civil society organization in Dar es Salaam or a multilateral agency in New York, Naserian Axis remains committed to moving partners from mere intention to measurable impact. This launch represents the beginning of a sustained conversation; the firm looks forward to sharing its insights and challenging mainstream orthodoxies to better serve the communities at the heart of global development.
