Gender equality is not a checkbox. When properly integrated, gender analysis changes what questions you ask, what data you collect, what risks you identify, and ultimately what results you achieve. Our gender and WPS practice is grounded in feminist methodology, intersectional analysis, and years of hands-on program design and evaluation across East Africa and beyond.

We work across the full program cycle from upstream gender and power analysis in design phases, through gender-responsive MEL frameworks and outcome harvesting, to gender audits and independent evaluations that go beyond surface indicators.

Our Women, Peace and Security practice specifically addresses the intersection of gender, conflict, and political instability drawing on our deep expertise in political economy analysis and conflict sensitivity to ensure programming is contextually grounded and does not inadvertently exacerbate harm.
