Biography
Iman built her foundations in law, organisational development, and civil society programming  working across youth engagement, climate, sexual and reproductive health rights, and the Sustainable Development Goals with the UN Association of Tanzania across ten regions.
For over seven years at Policy Forum Tanzania, she served as Communication and Gender Focal Point, managing a DANIDA-supported governance and social accountability program and leading the organisation’s Gender Equality and Social Inclusion strategy. She led grant management for multi-donor portfolios, built MEL systems from the ground up, and led capacity building with Members of Parliament on gender-responsive budgeting.
A Certified Human Rights Consultant trained through the US Institute of Human Rights and Diplomacy, she is central to Naserian Axis’s work on ethical AI for development impact helping organisations integrate digital tools responsibly without compromising Do No Harm principles.
Accountability and inclusion are not add-ons they are the architecture. When organisations get this right internally, they are far better positioned to drive it externally.
